Giant cavernoma mimicking a right frontal tumor

Cavernomas account for 9 to 16% of cerebrovascular malformations with a prevalence 0.5% in the general population. We report case large frontal cavernoma mimicking tumor and revealed by epileptic seizures. 40-year-old man, without any particular history, received consultation tonic-clonic generalized convulsive seizures evolving 5 years normal clinical examination on admission. Cerebral CT scan right lesion suggestive brain tumor, requiring surgical removal after persistent despite dual antiepileptic therapy. The evolution was favorable at one year total cessation neurological after-effects. In conclusion, giant cavernomas are rare lesions may be mistaken tumor.
